Becky Gittins MP MP for Clwyd East

Clwyd East MP, Becky Gittins, has welcomed the announcement of a new deal announced for North Wales meaning an additional £92 million of investment for flood defence upgrades in Prestatyn.
The funding, supplied through the National Wealth Fund, will support Denbighshire County Council’s work to restore and enhance local sea defences – protecting hundreds of businesses and homes in the area.
Becky Gittins MP said:
“Residents and local businesses in Prestatyn have suffered significant flooding in recent years and this deal will be welcomed as a big step forward in ensuring that the defences around the town are able to better protect them.
“This is a substantial investment and an example of both Welsh and UK Government’s working closely together to deliver for the people of North Wales.
