Clwyd East MP, Becky Gittins, has held the latest of her drop in events for older people at the Daniel Owen Centre in Mold.

Ms Gittins was joined at the drop in by Citizen’s Advice, Warm Wales, Age Connects, Flintshire County Council Domestic Energy Team, Nest, FLVC Social Prescribing Team and Welsh Water.

The event, which was attended by over 50 people, was an opportunity for older people to speak to the MP as well as a range of local organisations who were able to offer advice and check that they were receiving everything that they were entitled to.

“We know that some older people across Flintshire and Denbighshire are still not accessing all the support that is available to them and events like this can be incredibly useful.

“I am so pleased that, once again, a range of local agencies were able to lend their time and expertise on the day – signposting support and offering advice to attendees.
