About me

I was proud to be elected as the first MP for the newly established Clwyd East constituency.

I’m a local girl, raised in Bagillt, educated at Flint High and the Alun School, Mold, and now living in Clwyd East with my husband and our dog.

After university, I trained as an accountant and worked in finance before becoming a trade union negotiator in the civil service. I was proud to keep workers safe during the pandemic, and win pay rises during the cost of living crisis.
